Sleek Monochrome Stair Runner Project in NW3

Project Overview

We had the pleasure of fitting this sleek monochrome runner for a client in NW2 using a beautifully textured material. Through this two-phase installation process, we used a carpet from The Woven Edge alongside Basketweave Contract binding in Obsidian by Jaspa to provide our client with a fantastic finish that lifted their staircase with a simple yet classy stair runner.

The Installation Process

By implementing a two-phased approach to this project our team was able to ensure precision and accuracy at every step of the process. With such contrasting colours between the staircase and the runner an eye for detail was crucial.

Phase 1 - Templating. The important first step of templating, pattern matching and cutting the runner was completed in accordance with our plan and the agreed details.

Phase 2 - Installation. Due to the precision of our team’s work on phase one, the runner was seamlessly fitted to the staircase. Including all the selected ancillaries and the client’s own stair rods - resulting in a refined, flawless finish.

Challenges and Solutions

This monochrome runner had bold binding creating a stunning contrast between the staircase and the runner. The challenge here was ensuring the measurements and central fitting of the runner were perfect to produce the desired effect. With careful planning and attention to detail in the preparation stage we were able to achieve this.

The Outcome

The images speak for themselves. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome of this design and installation.
