Chunky Wool Loop Stair Runner with Herringbone Binding
For this transformation, our client wanted a design that was in keeping with the character of their home and complemented the warmth of the staircase's original woodwork. After exploring our showroom’s range, the client chose the Westex Butterwick carpet in Taro finished with eggshell cotton herringbone border and pine piping. The result was a beautifully understated stair runner focused on warm tones and a natural feel.
Installation Process
Once the selection was made, our team carefully measured, cut to size and installed the bespoke runner. The Butterwick wool loop carpet paired with the tonal edging created a seamless, cohesive look. The combination of the herringbone border and pine piping provided definition and structure to the runner edges. With attention to detail during the installation, the team ensured clean lines, consistent margins and a tailored finish throughout.
